portfolio + trolls

a very green project

This is a project I initiated as a holiday gift item for my friends. Tabletop RPGs and video games were the elements that brought us together and I wanted to create a fantasy-themed plush doll to celebrate those elements. These trolls immediately sprung to my imagination and I set myself to work developing ideas for patterns and selecting materials. I had never sewn anything this significant in my life and I relied on my design skills to get me through the project. After several prototypes, I found myself with a final product that embodied my original vision.
